What is your favorite part of the job?
Antonia: definitely the creative process. I love dreaming up beautiful designs and working together with my jeweler to make them come true. Sometimes I would have an idea in my head where I would then find the perfect gemstones to match with it. Other times, I would simply let the gemstones guide me.
Any fun facts you would like to share about your brand?
Antonia: As much as I would love to make more of certain pieces of jewelry (a. so that more people can enjoy that same piece and b. to make my own life easier), I simply can’t! 😂 majority of my gemstones are unique and one of a kind, come in different shapes and sizes, it’s simply impossible (and not so fun) to have pieces that are exactly the same!
What is your inspiration for your jewelry?
Antonia: Mother nature and the gemstone itself!
I would let the natural beauty of the gemstones guide me into creating a design that allow them to stand out. I also love gemstones that are uniquely cut. Different textures, forms and colour are essential in my pieces.
Could you pair your jewelry with clothes essentials for fall?
Antonia: Absolutely.
I believe that the great Mother Nature can be enjoyed at all seasons; therefore the subtle earth tones and natural colours of the pieces can be paired with a cozy sweater or knitwear to welcome fall-winter seasons, an extension to an 'eternal bohemian summer'.
While 'Bohemianism' is the practice of an unconventional lifestyle - we believe it is an attitude, personal style and way of of life.
The modern bohemian women comprises of many things, and embraces a life that is full of possibilities by being open minded to new ideas, especially those that will improve your quality of life. She believes in a positive vibe they send in the world flows its way back to them.
Who is your role model?
Antonia: My Mom.
She is the most patient human being I know.
She is my biggest fan, my friend, my rock. I owe it to her for being the person I am today.

Antonia: Apparently a Ruby!

A bit about your personal self (life, family, love)
Antonia: I currently live with my loving husband and our cat, Tux.
We built our lives together 10 years ago when we arrived Hong Kong almost fresh out of university. It's been quite the journey...from building our own separate careers, to forming new friendships, seeking new adventures and discovering all that Hong Kong has to offer. We never could have imagined a place more perfect to call our home.
Hong Kong is also the perfect place for building my jewelry brand. I am constantly surrounded by inspiration. We live in this incredible city yet surrounded by so much nature. It is truly amazing.
I am in an ideal location where I am close to all of my suppliers which are mostly based in the Asia regions. Hong Kong is where 'the East meets the West' - a cosmopolitan city where we have true access to the Western world, therefore I am never too far from all of my international customers.
